Dr. Larson
 

 Dr. Larson is a clinical psychologist licensed by the state of Washington (PY00001608), a member of the Washington State Psychological Association, a member of the American Psychological Association, and a pastoral counselor certified by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (Fellow#3714). He completed his Master of Divinity at Boston University where he specialized in pastoral psychology and biblical studies. He received an integrative doctorate in clinical psychology and theology through the Claremont School of Theology (CA), and completed training through the Gestalt Therapy Institute and the Pomona Valley Chemical Dependency Center. Dr. Larson has been in practice since 1985 and is an ordained Lutheran minister.

He has published a workbook on anger management, provided workshops locally and nationally for couples’ enhancement through conflict resolution and constructive communication, provided leadership assessment of clergy for the Lutheran Church (ELCA), and was the national Director of Specialized Ministries for the Lutheran Church (ELCA).

Dr. Larson currently provides counseling and consultation as an outreach ministry of Vashon Lutheran Church & Life Church of West Seattle to the Puget Sound area.
